Zero turn discs can be the hardest discs to throw correctly. These discs require a very flat release for a correct flight path. Discs are often thrown without a flat release in the "pre-faded" or "hyzer" position. Turn zero discs are most useful in windy conditions as a flat flight profile is less affected by cross wind. Experienced players will often have enough power in their throw to require a zero turn disc as a way to reduce or prevent over turning.
