See all Thunderbirds
The Thunderbird comes from strong bloodlines. The stability of a TeeBird with the speed of a Valkyrie; it can be described as a seasoned Firebird with less fade. The Thunderbird is predictable in wind and a great long range placement driver. Pros will appreciate the shot shaping ability of this driver while less experienced players will find a consistent, predictable flight.

A great stable disc that goes super far!
Disc arrived in perfect condition. Its got an interesting Dome on it and is super understable compared to my other thunderbirds. Will be a fun tool
Perfect customer service, even called to ensure I got the right disc. The disc itself is great and exactly what I wanted I’ll order here again
Good for underhand and precision shots. Moderate speed.
Flies straight with a moderate fade at the end. It goes a bit further than a teebird3, and seems to fly slightly less stable, but still doesn't turn over on drives or with a moderate head wind. The grip is good on the star plastic, and hitting a tree rather hard did not bother it. The orange color is fantastic for locating the disc in tall grass, etc.
One of the first things you'll notice when you search Innova discs is that the Champion plastic will run a few bucks more on each disc model. Believe me it is well worth it for reasons I'll get into in a bit. Here we have the Thunderbird, 175g. Whether it's the plastic itself or the translucent tone, it gives you the comfortability and feel of a ultra light disc with serious glide. As a predominately sidearm thrower off the tee, I love the predictability of my shots. Being a newbie at this game, it's important that I know exactly what's going to happen if I can hit my line. Have no fear if you have a slight turnover on your drive. Maybe hitting your line is out, but the Thunderbird will fight it off and still give you an excellent glide. Back to the plastic. EXTREMELY DURABLE! Like I said I am new at the game and am apparently into hitting each and every tree possible. This thing can take a beating and barely show it! Now my one complaint is that I have a hard time keeping my drives low. Of course, this is more to do with my mechanics and tendency to release noise up, however I tend to not have as much of an issue with the other 9 speed drivers in my bag. It seems to rise a bit more after release and kind of gets away from me. With more practice I'm sure this will become less of an issue. One thing I'll say though is that if you can keep it low and below the branches, you will LOVE the glide this baby gives you. Totally reccomend getting this thing and slinging it for your next round
I do not currently own a thunderbird but man. I have seen this disc thrown so well. The star thunderbird can be nice and stable at first, but you can beat it in to a hyzerflip disc. This disc is just great.
