What does "fade" mean?

SKU:

Fade is the sideways rotation and movement a disc does as it loses power. For a right-hand-backhand throw, this is to the left (the direction that is against the spin of the disc.) Fade can be used to carve a specific path around an obstacle as well as protect a disc from skipping in the wrong direction. If there is a hazard or out of bounds in the direction of your throw, a fade can lessen the chance of the disc not staying on the course as it's landing will come from a different angle.
