This year was bad for color. A lot of my pink and purple birds lot their color and turned green. Innova uses poor quality color agents and it shows. Not DZs fault
I actually have a 143g. green, Roadrunner already and this is intended as the replacement twin. Great for flip up, long turn overs and rollers. Arguably my favorite disc in my bag. I also bag heavier Roadrunners for straight pushing shots and to deal with windier conditions.
Awesome flight. The Gold plastic is some of the best plastic I have thrown!
I was looking for something that was on the less stable side in a seven speed. This had a gorgeous stamp that made me smile, and felt good in the hand.
So I bought it on a Saturday and went out and tested it in the Kansas wind. It played nicely one week later, I was playing on a docile day And through my first ever ace. So all in all this Disc worked for me and had one of the best returns on investment.
DZ has never disappointed. I've placed several orders with DZ and everything has been 100% I look through DZ's huge inventory once or twice a week and always find great deals and unique discs.
When I'm looking for a new disc, I go to DZ first. DZ has the best prices and a decent variety. I nearly always find the molds I'm looking for in the plastics, weight and colors I prefer.
As new, for my arm speed, this disc flies more straight with less turn. I'm confident that with a few more tree hits it will begin to turn similar to my Leopard3. Rim shapes are different (Rhythm vs Leopard3) so that may be a personal thing that determines a preferred disc pick. I also have a similar pair (Impulse vs Sidewinder) which are the "same" yet different for shot variation.
I consider Alfa kind of a B-Tier brand because they're newer and don't have many molds, but the Chrome plastic is very comfortable and performs on par with something like Latitude's Gold Line. So if you're a fan of that plastic, give it a shot!
The Cosmic feels a little less stable than advertised, and I recorded my longest drive during a practice session with it at 290 feet; handles torque well!
These guys are friendly, knowledgeable and, really care about the disc golf. 10/10 and all that Jazz!
I was hoping a softer raptor skin going over the rim for grip, so I was dissappointed.l
Never believe the hype of 'Pick up this Disc, it'll solve everything' but the Pixel is a pretty good putter! Excellent handfeel in the electron and the rim isn't too deep for my small hands.
Really hoping they start making this in Neutron and other plastic so I can use it as a driving putter, too.
The disc was perfect. But I spend a couple hundred dollars, throwing a few stickers in the box goes a long way. Lol
these are my favorite and go to disc I have about 20 different weights and play these numbers from mids to fairways to drivers thanks again for adding color to my bag
Like the title says, this is my first choice when I need a distance forehand with a strong fade at the end. It pushes surprisingly far and straight on a flat or slight anhyzer release before giving that reliable hook at the end. I also love to use it for backhand/forehand skip shots when I need to get around a blind corner with a big flare skip.
This has become my go-to driving putter when I need a straight to slightly understable flight off of the tee. Very comfortable in the hand and plenty receptive to any line I put it on. Lastly, everyone knows that pretty discs fly better, and this one is certainly a looker.
