What do you get when you combine the Innova Destroyer character with DGU’s mesmerizing Vortex Design? The VTX Mech Star Destroyer, of course. It’s the first model specific variation for DGU’s Vortex Series.
How this run of Star Destroyers feel: Noticeable dome. 165-172 have the most dome, while 173-175 have slightly less. Sure-fire Star grip.

The Destroyer is a very fast stable long distance driver. This disc is much like a faster Wraith, but with a little more high and low speed stability. Great disc for sidearm throwers and those with lots of power. Can handle headwinds and throws with off axis torque. Not suggested for beginning players.
Plastic: Star - See all Star Discs
Star Line is created with a special blend of grippy, resilient polymers. Star Plastic offers the same outstanding durability of our regular Champion Plastic, plus improved grip like our Pro Plastic. High performance, longevity, and superior grip make Innova Star discs the ideal choice for your game.
Stamp: Vortex VTX Mech Battle Copter Art by Marm O. Set
This Marm O. Set design features 2 Stamp Colors! You’ll remember DGU’s first Vortex design of five interconnected blades expertly illustrated to convey movement. Now, Marm O. Set returns to the Vortex drawing board, this time to convert the Destroyer into eye-catching blades. However, the Destroyer he envisioned wasn't exactly the traditional Destroyer bot. "This is more of a battle copter Destroyer. If we did a pullback shot of the entire machine then there would probably be some kind of mechanized brain pod that had two of these blade assemblies on titled axis," said Marm O. Set. The end result is a work of art for any Destroyer disc loving frolfer or anyone that has a soft side for beautifully drawn schematics.
Great disc, matches description. Happy customer.
Flies great off a forehand throw
This disc is awesome! Glows really well and flies great.
Flight numbers are merely guide. This run of Emily Beach Destroyers are awesome! In my opinion, they are a bit less stable than one might expect from a Metal Flake Glow Destroyer. I highly recommend.
This quickly became a go to disc for me. Stays true in high winds and is solid for my forehand and backhand throws
The Star destroyer is the driver I base all other drivers off of. A classic standard. I have 2 of these in my bag. I throw the Star Destroyer when my form and power are feeling good. It is just the right speed for me that it will turn over just enough to see the turn, then sail straight. The star plastic is firm, but nice and grippy in my hand. I am a bit older, so I generally don't throw 175g discs, this is also true with this disc. I prefer 170g discs, give or take a few grams.
Have to work up to speed. Good for low shots.
I bought a max weight, Gstar destroyer very early in my throwing career. My arm was nowhere near up to it, so I disced down to a Valkyrie and the Destroyer stayed in my bag LOOKING cool, but unused.Looks ARE what matters fora disc, right? Then one day while practicing, I just so happened to throw it Forehand.And. It. Clicked! It became my main forehand thrower until my arm caught up.
Not a beginner disc but what a great hyzer disc! Reliable, repeatable fade at the end of every drive.
Best disc for head wind and very durable a must have for seasoned players.
