Calvin Heimburg’s signature disc is back and better than ever with the release of the 2025 Halo Star Destroyer. Known as one of the most reliable distance drivers in disc golf, the Destroyer has long been the benchmark for players looking for controlled distance, big hyzers, and powerful flex shots. Now in Halo Star plastic, this version adds just the right amount of extra stability, making it the ultimate tool for battling wind, shaping shots, and delivering dependable performance under pressure. Mold: The Innova Destroyer Distance Driver in Halo Star Plastic -- Speed: 12.0 | Glide: 5.0 | Turn: -1.0 | Fade: 3.0
See all Destroyers
The Destroyer is a very fast stable long distance driver. This disc is much like a faster Wraith, but with a little more high and low speed stability. Great disc for sidearm throwers and those with lots of power. Can handle headwinds and throws with off axis torque. Not suggested for beginning players.

Plastic: Halo Star - See all Halo Star Discs
Star Line is created with a special blend of grippy, resilient polymers. Star Plastic offers the same outstanding durability of regular Champion Plastic, plus improved grip like our Pro Plastic. High performance, longevity, and superior grip make Innova Star discs the ideal choice for your game.

Stamp: Calvin Heimburg Tour Series 2025
The stamp on the Calvin Heimburg Tour Series Halo Star Destroyer features a bold, futuristic astronaut breaking through the center of the disc. With sharp linework and dynamic motion, it captures both Calvin's calculated yet adventurous playing style and the disc's raw power. The astronaut's outstretched arm and the word "DESTROYER" give the stamp an aggressive yet clean aesthetic, making it one of the most recognizable Tour Series designs this season.

Destroyer

This was exactly what I was looking for! Can’t recomend it more. Bag a star or pro plastic destroyer and one of these for when you need it fade a little more.

Not all Destroyers are created equal.

Flight numbers are merely guide. This run of Emily Beach Destroyers are awesome! In my opinion, they are a bit less stable than one might expect from a Metal Flake Glow Destroyer. I highly recommend.

Killer disc

This quickly became a go to disc for me. Stays true in high winds and is solid for my forehand and backhand throws

My goto driver

The Star destroyer is the driver I base all other drivers off of. A classic standard. I have 2 of these in my bag. I throw the Star Destroyer when my form and power are feeling good. It is just the right speed for me that it will turn over just enough to see the turn, then sail straight. The star plastic is firm, but nice and grippy in my hand. I am a bit older, so I generally don't throw 175g discs, this is also true with this disc. I prefer 170g discs, give or take a few grams.
