The first-annual DZDiscs Open was a success! The main attraction of the DZDO was introduction of Centennial Park Gold Layout - a challenging, Par 60 layout that required a wide variety of shot shapes and disc selections. Sixty-six players decided they were up for the challenge!

Hot round of the day was in Round 1 by your MPO Winner, Cody Zirkle. His -11, 1019 rated round, was the best in the event and is (for now) the Gold Layout record!

ESP FLX Scorch

Wasn't for me, but definitely true to the flight numbers.

ESP FLX Scorch was a pretty decent bomber, out of the box I could get it to hyzerlip, on slight anny it'll ride the line pretty far, but it does drop out of the sky with forward fade. Definitely a great glider for lineshapers!

This disc has been amazing for me! Feel good in the heads and aways flys pretty straight!

Under appreciated Distance Cheat Code

The Royal Orbit Brave is a distance machine for a fairway driver. The Orbit plastic from my throwing experiences in several rounds with it help it be a tad more stable to get a slight fade at the right time while keeping the turn flight in tact. This plastic as well the Royal Grand go well together in my bag and is one of my main fairways I can’t go without. Try it for yourself and you will love this disc.

Fun disc for catching, but can use as short approach disc because it grabs ground
Sorta like a Berg

I would never use this disc as a serious putter, because of the way it feels. It’s too light for me, and especially too large. The disc is so big I can fit some of my drivers inside the disc 😂 It’s great for catch, and fun for putting. The disc feels “gummy”, but not quite like a Discmania soft neo Spore. Very Different.

How to make more putts

Do you struggle with putting? Do want to learn how to commit to your putts? Do you like stable putters that are good in the wind? Then the PA3 is the disc for you, this amazing brick of a disc with no glide will make you learn how to commit to your putt every time, everyone should putt with the PA3, this is easily the best disc prodigy makes
